Located in Besir in the West Papua region, GAM BAY bungalow's features a balcony and sea views. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. Aron’s bay is beautiful. It is remote and full of life. I laid in the hammock all afternoon and watched the fish and birds all around me. Linda who helps Aron run the place always has a smile and cooks great food. The bathrooms are what you would expect around here, dip Mandi and dip toilet. Not my favorite, but normal for the area. The bungalows are well built, but I run hot and I did find that I wish I had a battery operated fan. Aron took me on a snorkel tour to Arborek island. I saw so many fish! He is a great guide, we had a lot of fun.

Everything is fresh, from papaya and dragon fruits planted in the back plantation, as well as eggplants, sugarcane, lemongrass and so many other fruits and vegetables. The wi-fi signal was working perfectly fine and all our needs were fulfilled by Jack, Adecya and their amazing staff! I was mesmerized by the many activities we were able to do within the Lodge area, such as tracking into the jungle, swimming to other islands and so on!

Bridget and Jeff were amazing hosts and just genuinely nice and caring people. Far exceeded what I thought for a dive lodge on the edge of the world.
