Really enjoyable stay. We were made to feel really welcome and the room was super, with a comfy four poster bed and large separate bathroom. The room was really clean with lovely decor. We loved the small bar area downstairs with a roaring fire. Also had a three course dinner in the restaurant Saturday night. Food was more than a cut above normal pub fayre (think smaller, beautifully presented portions and very high quality ingredients)- for example I had guineau fowl. All the food was delicious, as was the cooked breakfast the next morning. To cap it off, we were offered walking maps and walked to Chipping Camden and Dover's Hill direct from the Hotel - with the offer of being picked up if we got lost!

I regretted not living longer here. The receptionist helped us upon check-in and introduced the room usage to us. The decoration of the room is ten times better than the picture. The room is big. This is the best hotel during my two weeks travel around Scotland and England. The restaurant provided nice food.

Booked a hideaway hut; room was great and hot tub just what we wanted. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly. Had dinner one night in the restaurant and was tasty. Possibly the highlight though was getting a pizza delivered to the room - came within 15 minutes and was amazing; far exceeded expectations!

Dinner was like from a picture book! I find it really tacky when people take smartphone pictures of their dinner in a restaurant but I made sure no one was looking at me when I did just that because my dinner looked just superb and tasted equally great. Service was also perfect. This is a hotel I would highly recommend!!

After our flight arrived extremely early we arrived at 6am. after speaking to the executive houskeeper they allowed us to use a room to shower and sleep in until our room was ready. this amazing gesture meant the world to us and our kids. truly went above and beyond. have stayed here many times before and will stay again.

Lovely and helpful staffers - Mille Jacob, and Kate - all look very young, but very polite and resourceful. Excellent problem solvers too The restaurant on-site offers variety of menus and opens till late. So even the location is a bit far from the centre, you are covered!

Parking was free! Location was just a 4 mins drive to the nearest food facility (m&s food hall and costa coffee). Room was huge with a kitchen, dining table and chairs, sofa bed and a huge bed! :) counter receptionist was very very helpful!
